Thank you for your May 6 letter requesting permission to experiment with signage for tollsponsorship to alleviate traffic congestion and delay at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Your research project has been assigned an official Request to Experiment number of 2-518(E)– Signage for Toll-Sponsorship Events to Alleviate Traffic Congestion/Delay. Please refer to this number in future correspondence.

Your request has been reviewed and found to be consistent with the guidelines detailed in Section 1A.10 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
