Indications for Active Traffic Management on Freeways

Minimum Sizes* of Overhead Lane-Use Control Signal Indications

A sign with a black background with a red 18 inch tall 'X' in the middle of it with a width of 1.688 inches and the angles are at 90 degrees. The legend must be red or yellow (illuminated) and the background black.

A sign with a black background with a downward pointing green arrow. The arrow lines are 1.688 wide. The downward line is 10.8 inches long while the arrow lines are 12.15 inches long. The angle between the two lines that form the arrow tip are 90 degrees and the arrow is 18 inches long. The legend must be green (illuminated) and the background black.
