Exhibit 2-9 – E-470 Public Highway Authority express lane plaza approach (2000)

Exhibit 2-10 – Illinois State Toll Highway Authority express lane plaza on I-355, Boughton Road Plaza (1999). This facility was the first US toll plaza to be converted from all-cash operations to express lane operations.

Exhibit 2-11 – Harris County Expressway express lane plaza (2004). Note that the approach pavement is contiguous and physically shared with the cash lanes, but the express lane alignment is tangent. Vehicles drive through the express lanes at highway speed.
