Figure 5F-1. Highway-Rail Grade Crossing Signs on Low-Volume Roads

This figure shows six highway-rail grade crossing signs for low-volume roads.

R15-1 is shown as two white horizontal rectangular panels placed one on top of the other to form the shape of an "x." In black letters, the word "RAILROAD" is shown in two segments, "RAIL" and "ROAD", on the piece running from top left to bottom right, and the word "CROSSING" is shown in one uninterrupted segment on the piece running from bottom left to top right.

R15-2 is shown as a square white sign with the numeral "3" in black mounted above a horizontal rectangular white sign with the word "TRACKS" in black.

W10-1 is shown as a round yellow sign with a black border. It shows a black "x" with a black letter "R" to the left and right of it.
