Millennium Edition Editorial Changes

The FHWA published the 1,100-page Millennium Edition of the MUTCD on December 18, 2000. As with any document this size, there are editorial changes such as misspellings, grammatical wording, and other corrections that may be needed.

Errata No. 1, dated June 14, 2001:

The following list of editorial changes are issued to help improve the readability of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, to provide text clarification and consistency, and to correct grammatical, typographical, and pictorial errors which can be made simply by pen-and-ink changes:

Throughout the MUTCD, the text of the running heads should alternate right and left to reflect right page or left page.
Throughout the MUTCD, in the running heads, the comma following "December" should be deleted.
Throughout the MUTCD, in the Tables of Contents for each Part, in each Chapter title listing, delete the comma following "Dec."
