Figure 2E-27. Interchange Exit Direction Sign with an Advisory Speed Panel
This figure shows an interchange exit direction sign with an advisory speed panel and an alternate sign.
The first sign is labeled "Exit Direction sign with E13-2 sign panel." It is shown as a horizontal rectangular green sign with a white border and legend. In the top left portion of the sign, a white U.S. route shield is shown on which the black numerals "56" are shown. In the top center portion of the sign, the word "NORTH" is shown. Centered below the shield and the word "NORTH," the word "Lindale" is shown. On the right portion of the sign, approximately centered in the height of the sign, a diagonal arrow is shown pointing up and to the right. On the bottom line, a horizontal rectangular yellow E13-2 panel is shown with the words "EXIT 20 MPH" in black. Above the top right portion of the sign, a smaller horizontal rectangular green plaque is shown with a white border and the words "EXIT 27" in white. To the right of this sign, the word "OR" and another sign are shown.
The alternate sign is labeled "Exit Direction sign with E13-2 sign panel and flashing yellow beacons." It is shown as the same as the first sign, except a little wider and with a round yellow beacon on a black square shown on each side of the E13-2 sign panel.
