This figure shows two illustrations of ETC account pictographs and the use of purple backgrounds and underlay panels.

The first illustration is labeled "A - Pictograph Design With a Purple Background and White Contrasting Border" and shows two examples using a "Toll Pass" logo:

  1. Pictograph on a purple or other non-contrasting background shows the Toll Pass logo with a purple background and a white border to the left of the word "ONLY" in black on a white horizontal rectangle mounted on a horizontal rectangular purple panel with a white border at the top of a green guide sign.
  2. Pictograph on a white or other contrasting background shows the Toll Pass logo with a purple background to the left of the word "OR" in black on the top line and the words "HOV 2+ ONLY" in black on the bottom line on a horizontal rectangular white panel with a black border at the top of a green guide sign.

The second illustration is labeled "B - Pictograph Design With a Background Color Other Than Purple, Shown on Purple Underlay Panel With White Contrasting Border" and shows three examples using the Toll Pass logo:

  1. Pictograph on a purple background shows the Toll Pass logo on a white horizontal rectangle to the left of the word "ONLY" in black on a white horizontal rectangle mounted on a horizontal rectangular purple panel with a white border at the top of a green guide sign.
  2. Pictograph with a purple underlay on a non-contrasting background shows the Toll Pass logo on a white horizontal rectangle on a purple horizontal rectangle with a white border in the upper left corner of a green guide sign.
  3.
