Figure 2F-4. ETC Account-Only Auxiliary Signs for Use in Route Sign Assemblies
This figure shows two illustrations of ETC account-only auxiliary signs for use in route sign assemblies.
A note states: "The ETC pictograph shown is an example only. The pictograph for the toll facility's adopted ETC system shall be used."
The first illustration shows a sign assembly composed of a vertical arrangement of two signs:
- M4-20 is shown as the top sign and is shown as a vertical rectangular purple sign with a white border and a Toll Pass logo on a white horizontal rectangle above the word "ONLY" in black on a white horizontal rectangle.
- M4-16 is shown as the bottom sign and is shown as a horizontal rectangular white sign with a black border and the words "NO CASH" in black on one line.
The second illustration is labeled "Example Route Sign Assembly." It is shown composed of a vertical arrangement of five signs:
- M4-15 is shown at the top of the assembly and is shown as a horizontal rectangular yellow sign with a black border and the word "TOLL" in black.
- M3-2 is shown as the second sign and is shown as a horizontal rectangular white sign with a black border and the word "EAST" in black.
- M1-4 is shown as the third sign and is shown as a square black sign with a white U.S. route shield containing the numeral "40" in black.
